Our customer, who is a global producer of high-end audiovisual equipment and is the producer for numerous exclusive brands, faced a challenge in terms of finding the right solution for sound absorption.

More specifically, the customer sought a solution for speaker cabinets, as they, due to their construction, have a tendency towards creating vibrations within the cabinet which can cause negative impacts on the sound experience.

Our competences within the industry make us a versatile partner that offers guidance on everything from the choice of materials to validation and testing. In close collaboration with our customer, DAFA found the right solution.

Today, this customer uses DAFA Sound ABS sound-absorption foam. This solution is produced in fire-resistant melamine foam with particularly sufficient autistic qualities, which means that it both solves the challenge and ultimately improves the sound of the speaker.
